jb

went jb today with zj, peer, clement, julian, wenshen, junrong(kim's bf). met at 1130 at kranji to go in by bus, then wack cab all the way to get from place to place. in fact, cab in jb is rather affordable, 4 pple can cost abt RM6/7. so it's quite oo-hua lar.

didn't buy too much today, got onli 1 tee shirt. haha, all the guys shop together lar! i think clement bought the most, cause he never went before and was like a kid in a candy store. he wack the most clothes also. i think zj also wack alot, if not > clement. haha, never saw tt side of zj...

there were some illegal buys too lor! drugs lar what else. :)

lunch was at this super ulu kopitiam where the drink stall auntie was really hopeless. she went through so much trouble before getting our orders right. in fact she got ALL our orders wrong. 3 cups of teh ping become 3 cups of kopi ping. bandung became coke.

and did u know wenshen drinks ice kopi-o?? wah, tt's super hardcore lar... haiyoh

in fact not onli the drink stall auntie blur. everyone was blur there. we ordered some bak kut teh and after delievering the food the person didn't collect $! but anyway the bak kut teh was not v good. i shared kuay chap with julian. found tt we share the same tastes. both of us LOVE pig skin, INTESTINES, and GIZZARDS. we had tt for lunch. haha to say fabulous, but it was quite enjoyable. RM3.50 per person also, so it was a good deal. on the way out i saw the person cooking loads and loads of pig skins. wah lau, i really wanted to stop and ask her to packet for me lor... pig skin is v nice! everyone should try it cause it's life-changing.

we went to this big shopping center first to look see look see and i was VERY thankful for tt cause the weather was super hot. think if we stayed out shopping in the roadside shophouses we would all have died of heatstroke and heat exhaustation and dehydration leading to delirium, confusion, unconciousness and ultimately death. and there in the shopping center most of us made our illegal buys... muahaha, which i believe for me was the best buy of the trip. :) think clement some of the *stuff* for phile. i bought for my own personal use. wenshen and julian bought for their own pleasure too. in fact julian bought a controversial one. i hope he didn't get caught at customs. :)

so now i got *stuff* to entertain me to remove my post-CA boredom. :)

we went taman sentosa for dinner. :) zi cha was SUPERB. though it was still slightly more expensive than i thought, but cheap nonethless. the menu included cereal prawns, calamari, life-changing-crayfish, begger chicken, stir-fried chilli kangkong, kailan, egg tofu with shrimp and mixed veggies, and stingray. *burp* i can almost swear tt i salivated when i was typing all tt out. wah. good stuff!

the bill came up to RM28 per person. which is abt S$12.20. haha. great food, greater prices. in fact we had intended to go eat durians too but because it was raining we didn't want to go out to choose. the durian hawker place was not very sheltered mar.

can u believe HOW disappointed i was when i realised we were not eating tt fabulous durian liao...

it's real nice in a way cause this trip let me get to know clement and julian slightly better. haha, they're damn funny pple and v nice too. julian was trying on this shirt tt i wanted to buy too back in singapore (one of their fen(1) hang(2) is in m'sia). haha, we have a bit of the same taste. :) clement and i had so much fun talking abt how icsl sings! :) haha.

in fact i discovered tt we're not the onli bunch going to jb. andre, pakling, stella, TCHtg, david, linus also gg down tml. :)

i'ld expect myself to return to jb more often from now on. nice food, nice apparel, great prices. haha, tt sounds like some touristy slogan. julian told me he buys his contacts from jb and oh man, it's so cheap! RM50 for THREE months supply. he doesn't have astig though. checked for astig, it's S$15 per pair of monthlies. which is really very cheap also.

boohoohoo. i just bought ONE YEAR'S supply of contacts in singapore. WHY didn't i get to know julian earlier...

tml is a great day. v packed. porridge buffet with anat grp at suntec at 1145, then ktv all the way till 7pm. going for caregroup from 7 to 10, then at 1030pm supper with andre et al at bedok.

*u know just now when i burped i could 'taste' the taste of cereal prawns on my palate... serious!
