eat then sleep, sleep then eat.

arh had intended to blog yesterday night but was too tired to do so. well, it's another wkend gone liao. hmmm, time really passes fast. think this wkend has been super nice cause it was the 1st in a loooong time since a proper meal with the entire family.

which was today. at old airport rd. aiyoh, my dad went to order orh lua. which is really not v advisable cause he was recently diagnosed with slight hypercholesterolemia. which is really very mild cause there were no symptoms at all. his checkup was a result of my incessant nagging and prodding. hehe. :)

hmmm, talking abt cholesterol... i had kuay chap. which is super duper high in cholesterol. wise choice.

yar. orh lua! haha, i forbidded him to eat it on the way there and i think his face just fell. haha. then i thought abt it and just threw the whole 'hpb' thing out of the window. haha. so the whole family shared a nice plate of orh lua with big fat juicy oysters. of which i still dare not to eat any. :) SO GROSS. with all the juice ozzing out when ur incisors break through the membrane of the sac. all the whitish-grey, zinc-tasting juice bursting forth onto your tongue and palate. yucks. i think i'm going to puke out my dinner.

FINALLY i bought my ring files. in yet another valiant attempt to file my notes. haha. from carrefour. lugged SIX huge files all the way from carrefour at suntec on the bus, up the hill and along the road. aiyoh. very tiring. and i think they the carrefour counter staff gave me a huge plastic bag to contain the files. one of the biggest i've every carried. haha, everyone was asking me what was in there. should be finishing the filing afterwards. but right now, the files are just strewn all around my bedroom floor. haha. inertia inertia inertia,

yesterday night went out for supper with the queen! haha. i was about to buy food liao at boon tong kee (cause i was v v v v hungry after campus, having 'sort of' skipped dinner) when she called and said she wanted to go out. hmmm, why not. i needed food too.

and it was SO fun!!

haha, cause she came up with this mad idea of just driving along dou(1) feng(1) when i couldn't decide on a place to get good food. then we played sisscors paper stone whenever we came to a junction and the winner would decide whether we should go left, right or centre.

omg. tt's how dangerous. cause obviously i had to take my eyes off the road for tt split sec to see if she was cheating lar. in fact it was not supposed to be sps but oh arh pei arh som but all the pple we called out wanted to sleep... the novena supper gang and whoever-else-also-gang all were not avaliable lar. *sulks*

went to the S11 beside jalan besar stadium for rou(4) chuo(1) mian(4). delicious! haha, then the queen wanted to eat 1 fishball from the same stall. pengz. tried ordering but WHERE GOT PPLE SELL 1 FISHBALL ONE? and the auntie vehemently refused to sell us.

well, she then offered to sell us 3 for a dollar. oh well. i ate the other 2 lor. and the fish ball was quite lousy also. haha silly. but i tell u, the soup was good. :) so good tt we designated the place to be another must eat for the novena supper gang. haha.

we then just went for a spin. yes, playing the spg whenever we came to a junction. haha. tt took us from lavender to

1. upper serangoon (where queen tried to call anil down but he hung up on her to return back to play chess with uncle chou),
2. then back to lavender (at this pt we were damn sacred we would end up going in circles for the whole night),
3. then to cityhall, esplanade (v nice the esplanade bridge) & fullerton,
4. raffles place (where we saw the queen's office),
5. chinatown (which was v dead. thought i expected some night life there)
6. MS (where we went to visit timo. yes he lives in ms! how funky! haha, the boy came down! in shorts too. haha. :) chatted with him for a while and when we left queen was kbing about how anil's a lazy bum who refused to come down when timo was so sweet to come down.)
7. *erm i can't remember where did we went from MS* but we found our way back to lavender food square where we ate chee cheong fun. didn't know it could be eaten with sesame seed oil, light soy sauce also instead of the sweet sauce we always get. it was VERY nice. :) but it's supposed to be v unhealthy too so cannot eat too much. see lar, got me addicted to another unhealthy food liao. haha.

something very embarassing happened at lavender food sq. guess! ok, give u a clue. it had something to do with the car. and my inept skills at manouvering the car...

yes, parallel parking. just couldn't get the car into the lot. haha and it was HOW PAISEH when the person behind the lot we were trying to get into offered to help me park it with his flurry of hand signals (like beckoning me closer and all tt. nothing vulgur here thankfully) and when i couldn't for NUTS follow simple hand signals he and his gf/wife just broke down into hysterical laughter. and queen couldn't stop laughing also. wah lau, big help lar u. and i only got the car into the lot when the poor guy recovered from his stitch-inducing laughter to reverse his car into an empty lot behind him to give me 2 lots to park 1 car.

i just refused to get out of the car lar cause will see the guy. then queen was DAMN funny, "okok, i pretend i'm adjusting my hair so we can wait for them to go before getting out ok?"

haha.

tt seemed like the best decision until a few moments later when i thought no pt lar. so i thanked the guy when i was walking past his car and walked off hastily to get a seat. well, rather to save what's left of any face and in the hope he wouldn't recog me.

after chee cheong fun went home liao. tired but damn funny and definitely memorable...

yippee, roughly got all the lyrics for jie(4) kou(3) up into my cortex. hmmm, qi(1) li(3) xiang(1)'s next. :) yay! excited excited excited.
