a exit from somewhere is always an entrance to somewhere else

i just came back from church camp, and i'm really very filled and very refreshed. the title of the camp was ben gen, meaning the benjamin generation.

and we are, the benjamin generation.

"but benjamin's serving was five times as much as any of theirs..." gen 43:34

"the lad cannot leave his father, for if he should leave his father, his father would die..." gen 44:22

"but to benjamin he gave three hundred pieces of silver and five changes of garments..." gen 45:22

it's truely amazing and touches my heart every time i read this passage.

jacob personifies god whose heart was so much knitted with us, so much in love with us. joseph personifies jesus who was sent before hand into egypt to prepare salvation and provide for his brothers. benjamin was the youngest, who did nothing throughtout but cry at the end when he was reunited with his brother. yet benjamin received 300 pieces of silver (3 being a number of divinity and silver signifying redemption. jesus being tt divine price of redemption) and 5 (grace) changes of clothing (signifying holiness and covering).

do you see jesus in the story? now i know when they say there's life when u read and see jesus in the bible everywhere. not only in the gospels. it's one big love story.

i think my season of drought is over. made many more kingdom friendships, got to know many pple much better and made totally new friends too who're fantastic. i think i'm going back to serving again.

every church camp so far has been a major change in my life. something great's going to happen.

and i guess this is the last post for elpis.blogspot.com.

but before that i'll finish the tag by avaris. :)

Things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it to your journal... and then tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs.
  1. playing dota
  2. listening to music, 93.3/jay/emi/laura
  3. eating - ice cream and chocolates and everything nice
  4. going for a good run
  5. singing out loud
thanks to all who have read and cared. :) i really really appreciate the concern and kind words shown through the past time.

i'll still keep this site so tt i can read my past posts, as one of my purposes of setting up this blog was to be some sort of online diary.
